Interesting... I never even thought of the Murasame, but I guess that is correct.
Note, the "Cursed Dark Sword" is the description, not the name.
So... +2 for Razor, for getting both questions truly right. And +1 for Note, for giving me the answer I expected for the strongest weapon, even if it is technically not correct.
Current score:
Notesurfer: 3 Raven: 2 Alt.L33t: 2 Razor: 2 Draxas: 2 Niff: 0 N3B: 0 PhoeniX: 0 Garrant: 0
The next question was sent to me by Razor, so if you guys are stumped, the point goes to him.
Genesis - Zero Wing: How many times can you upgrade your ship's weapon?

The maximum upgrade is level 3, unless you happen to grab a purple Tank powerup, which will upgrade it to a 4th. So, 4 in all.

Obviously, Alt.L is wrong.
Note, I am not sure about. I've never played the game enough myself to know. Razor will confirm your answer. You get the point for now.
EDIT: Confirmed by Razor, you are correct Note.
Current score:
Notesurfer: 4 Raven: 2 Alt.L33t: 2 Razor: 2 Draxas: 2 Niff: 0 N3B: 0 PhoeniX: 0 Garrant: 0
Note is pulling ahead, the rest of you should try to catch up!
The next question is a bit on the tricky side.
Nintendo - Metroid series: There are several powerups which have only appeared in a single title from the Metroid series. Name the exclusive item, and the single title it appears in.
+1 point for each correct answer. Get to it!

LongBeam- Metroid (NES) X-Ray/IR Visor- Metroid Prime Phazon Suit- Metroid Prime
If any more come to my head I'll bring em up...
N3B: well, technically... the long beam was also in Zero Mission, but i guess those count as one game...
-Spider ball was in Metroid II if i remember correctly, though I haven't played it before.

Long Beam
All of the above appear solely in the original Metroid NES game

Dang, you guys all posted while I was typing that up! >_< There's also a total of six different punching moves in SSB, which do not appear in any other Metroid game.
