The old topic was getting too large and unwieldy, and was starting to glitch, so here is Iteration #2!
If anyone needs an explanation of the rules, or wants to see the old questions, check the previous topic. The scores and the active question have been carried over to the new topic.
Current score:
Notesurfer: 10 Draxas: 9 Razor: 8 PhoeniX: 6 Raven: 5 Alt.L33t: 3 N3B: 1 Niff: 1 Garrant: 0
Another question:
Playstation - Metal Gear Solid: Why is Metal Gear Rex such an effective nuclear delivery device?

Do you think I'd like that game? I've considered buying it if there's a PS2 version . . . was it any good?

MGS2 is for PS2. If you have a GCN, they're releasing a new version of MGS for it soon, with improved graphics and the engine from MGS2 (so you can do a lot more stuff). The original was pretty cool, though frustrating at times. Still, it didn't take me more than a week to finish the game (which is pretty much the going rate for me , though once you do finish it, they throw in only a few little bonuses to enhance the replay. A fun game overall. But was nobody who played it paying attention to the plot? This should be an easy question if you got anywhere worth mentioning in the game.

What was the system like? I mean, for all I know right now it could be an FPS an RPG or a sports game lol.
YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF MGS!? GAH!! *strangle*

It's third person espionage with a fixed (but excellently done) camera. A bit like Silent Hill or Res Evil, without the wacky camera angles or horrible controls.
The game itself values good strategy and stealth far above brute force. If you try the "Guns Blazing" method at any point in this game, you will die. Period. Come up with a good plan, and you can rock easily.

Fixed camera . . . you mean like Knife Edge: Nose Gunner?

No idea, never heard of it.
Basically, when you enter a room, the camera is set in a fixed position (most of the time), and will pan around as necessary to follow your movements. There is also a "peek around corners" view, which changes the camera to a view where you can watch around corners without being spotted. The camera changes are handled very elegantly, and it never seems awkward at all.
Actually, another game I could liken the camera work to (somewhat) would be Eternal Darkness. Minus the sanity effects, of course.

No, it sounded like you were pulling random terms out of your rear end, in an effort to sound like you knew what you were talking about.

no, those words made sense, all except "mizes" which is a typo. All the other words make sense with everything else around it. it may not have been the right answer to the question, but it is still understandable.

Yes, but in context, nothing goes togther correctly. And that is sort of correct Alt.L, but not completely. I need more details, as well as the crucial second (or perhaps first?) part of the reason to give you credit.

I'm not quite sure what your asking for. Could you change the way you worded the question?

ermm.... wild guess but
Is it because it can't be destroyed without setting off the nuke? Or because it can cloak?
(defying the 1 guess rule but oh well, accept only one if you like)

Neither answer is correct, but feel free to continue to guess. I will mention when I'll bother enforcing that rule. A rewording of the question, eh? How's this: Playstation - Metal Gear Solid: Several aspects of Metal Gear Rex make it a much more effective nuclear delivery system when compared to conventional means. What aspects are these?Since this question seems to have generated some confusion, I'll leave it up a little longer than normal. For anyone who wants a new question though... SNES - Metal Warriors: Which two mechs are capable of unlimited flight (Player controlled only)?
