"That was too easy that couldn't have been the cheif," Ranger said as he went up to check the body for anything useful.

"No, it was not," responded the shaman as he inspected to body, "This was a decoy, to throw assassins off track. We need to find the warchief, and quickly. We don't have much time before this one is discovered."
Ranger gave the body the once-over, but it was in bad shape; much of it was still smoldering from repeated fireball impacts, and everything was covered in green orcish blood from the multitude of slash and puncture wounds. As he stood and examined the room, however, he could see several suspicious areas, places where the walls were covered with opaque hangings, that could potentially conceal hidden doorways. These were spread out among the side and back walls, and were decorated with runes and pictograms that Ranger could not identify.

Ranger decided to test one of them and shot an arrow at it.

Ranger turned toward the side wall hanging closest to him and fired an arrow into it. However, the thick cloth rendered the test inconclusive; the arrow stuck partway into the hanging, and then drooped downward, indicating that it had been stopped by the cloth alone.

"Oh Well" Ranger said, "Gulg's way seems to be doing quite well for him lets give it a shot."
Ranger darted forward a bit then turned to go for the tapestry on the wall in front of him.

Ranger pulled down the wall hanging, only to reveal a blank wall behind it. However, the goblins seemed to be catching on to the idea, and each began pulling on other hangings around the room. It wasn't long before one of the shaman's bodyguards grunted something in goblinic; Ranger turned and saw that a doorway had been revealed behind the cloth hung on a side wall, to the immediate left of the Warchief's throne.

Ranger hurried over and stared down the hallway.
"We don't have time lets go," He said setting down the hall.

The goblins followed on Ranger's heels as he headed through the doorway. The hallway beyond was dark but short, lit only by the light streaming through the doorway from the great hall, and peeking out from beneath a large, solid wooden doorway on its opposite end.
"Be ready," said the shaman as they approached the door, "The Warchief is likely beyond, and is obviously aware of and ready for assassins. Unlike his minions, he will not fall easily."

Ranger shook himself loose a few times then prepared an arrow. Sweat dropped from one of his brows. He was nervous. It had been a decent journey so far and he was a bit scared of this fight. There probably was no support for him now besides the cohorts beside him which would likely die along with him should he fall.
He kicked hard at the door and let loose his arrow at the first orc he saw.

The solid wood of the door clunked loudly against the doorframe and splintered slightly near the handle from the kick, but remained intact. Now even more apprehensive, since anyone beyond was alerted to the intrusion, Ranger kicked the door again, and this time the door swept open, sending shards of wood flying off from the point the it was held closed as the structure gave. Ranger prepared for the worst as he swept the room with his arrow...
Beyond the doorway was a sparsely furnished living space, dominated mainly by a pair of furniture items. The first was a large pile of furs stacked in the corner, which seemed to serve as the Warchief's bed. The other was a large armor display, certainly large enough to fit orcish armor. A suit of chainmail reinforced with iron bands hung off of one side of the frame, seemingly pulled down by someone. Ranger followed the armor with his eyes to the floor, where a huge green fist gripped the links motionlessly.
Lying face up on the floor was the orc that could only be the Warchief. He was enormously tall and broad, probably slightly larger than even Gulg. He gripped the end of the armor with one fist, while the other was wrapped around the handle of what would be, for a smaller being, a two-handed battleaxe. The orc stared lifelessly up at the celing, and the reason for this was very clear; he had a fist sized circular hole in his chest. A pool of orcish blood spread around him, but it didn't look quite right; the blood was a much darker green than usual, and seemed to be entirely the wrong texture as it was much clumpier and more coagulated than even dried blood. However, it was clear that this was not a recent wound; the Warchief wasn't bleeding any longer, and all of the blood seemed to have the same strange texture to it.

Ranger continued to sweep the room with arrow ready looking for any others that had obviously reached the room first.
