Greetings to all players once again! This is the Clash of Realities character request and signup thread. This is where you request a character sheet, and confirm character sheets I draw up. As you all can see, I've moved the old iteration of the game into the archives. I figure that the best way for everyone to get back into the swing of things is to start fresh, so everyone is going to need to request characters again. I have no qualms about regenerating characters previously used, if you folks are really attached to them, but I think it would be more fun for all concerned if everyone chose someone new. Variety is the spice of life, after all. Once we have a suitable number of players registered, we should be able to start right away. To everyone in advance: Have fun!

I don't know about no PDBA: <alphabet here>, but CoR was fun.
Requesting Pacman, if you can do it. Otherwise, I'll thinka someone else.

I can't think of Pacman being fun to play...or really having any way to attack.
I mean, if an incorporeal being taps on his shoulder, he turns inside out for crying out loud!

I think Pac Man would be hysterical; I accept your challenge. No guarantees he'll be particularly effective, though, since not only is he incredibly fragile, as Razor pointed out, he also has no attack power without use of performance enhancing drugs.

I have 2 choices...you pick.
Either X from Megaman X, or Derrick Cole from Breakdown. Whichever you think would be better.

Awww, come on bro...

Everyone knows it. That's why HE got his own series ^_^

Yeah...but that doesn't mean I should pick him over X.

*pacman comes across a mob* Fight or run away? >run away *pacman sees another mob* Fight or run away? >run away *pacman sees a power pellet* Eat or ignore? >eat *mobs turn blue* *pacman sees a mob* Fight or run away? >fight *mob runs away* Chase or leave alone?
It could turn out really fun or really awful...Also, is Pacman's fragility really that much different than your average survival horror character? Hell, the limited number of power pellets also parallels your modern survival horror's lack of ammo.

Yes...yes it is. S-H characters can generally take several hits before falling. Ammo is hardly the same as power pellets, as it has some kind of variety to it, and I'd hardly call Pac Man "Survival Horror"...
In fact, how the hell did S-H come up?

Pac Man is the original S-H hero.

I think "Friday the 13th" is more fitting of the genre. Pac-man just doesn't have the depth in the definition of the term.

That's because it was made before either of us were born.

Yeah, and "Survival Horror" was a term first invented by Capcom to describe Resident Evil...
