It is in english as a matter of fact. As for a dling a file bigger than my mother, there are plenty of things that are bigger than my mother, its never stopped me before. No worries, I have a fat pipe I can handle big downloads. (took me all of 45 minutes )

Ok, well, I registered and am now downloading the files. Does this come with an activation key or do I need that at all?
EDIT: Thinking of going Cora now, 'cause I just read-up that the Accrecia or whatever don't get magic, and that would put a quick end to my habbit of being support-classes. But then again Bellatos look like they'd be really fun; everyone will play them though, and I hate being a majority in MMO's.

DOUBLE POST:
So I asked, and the response I got was basically this; Coras' support skills aren't too effective because of the targetting system. Bellato Spiritualist I'm told is the most effective. So I could be a Bellato and not be the majority since I'm not a combat-oriented character. Either way, odds are, for the first several days I'll just mess around with each race and then go from there.

"There are too many patch files. Please re-doanload RF Online"
That's what happened when I got the launcher up, so I went to the phillipines site forum and got the patch download off of another site, and am still getting this damn message and can't log in still.

The game is trying to tell you it's not worth the trouble. Listen to the game.

In other MMO news, on the 28th or so I'm dling L2 and going on a private shard >_> I assume 35x normal experience will make the game focus more on the gameplay and skill side of things rather than the mind numbing grinding

You've got to install at GMT +8:00 Hong Kong time.
The game is trying to tell you it's not worth the trouble. Listen to the game.
Its really not that hard, make up a PH address>download file>set time to gmt +8:00 hong kong>install>Boot>DL patches>play. If you want complex you should see what I had to do for the Jap Beta. Language support, copying Kata Kana, etc etc.

As of today pRF has banned US ips. :-\ which is irritating since the company said it would be available for international players. They might lift restriction, they might not. To say the least it is fairly irritating.

Who cares? Is the game so all-consumingly good that you can't find another free MMO instead?
This is just something I don't get, call me crazy. I have enough trouble understanding the appeal of MMOs in general. But an MMO in a language you can't understand well (if at all), hosted by a company that has expressed that it doesn't want you there? It's totally ludicrous.
By the way, Alt, in Asia, "International" translates to "Everyone except for the US." Sad fact of life. Don't expect them to reopen the game to US players.

The MMORPG market has a great love for Asia and the Phillipines, and doesn't care so much about the American market. There are still 3-4 million subscibers/players in the original Lineage game, and about 80% is from Korea. There are a damn load of Japanese players in FFXI. They also get the most attention when it coems to the beta games due to those facts - Japanese GunZ, Korean GunZ and the soon-to-be-released Phillipines (or pinoy as some call it) GunZ have full release content - premium items, quest modes, enchantments, etc. While iGunZ is being avoided from publishers for one reason or another, and is still in beta with no fancy bells and whistles. It seems companies are bloody jumping on the chance to publish a game for the Asian market, while avoiding the American ones because they know they're gonna make less from it.

Of course. How can they compete with WoW in the current climate? People in this country (for whatever reason) worship that game like a deity.
