Wow. I should ask for free stuff more often. Well of course I expect you to send it back when you're done, but once I send it I won't really care to watch it for a few months to a year which is no doubt plenty of time for you to scrounch the streets for postage. Don't send it back and I'll send my 'coon goons after you.

I won't even ask what a 'coon goon is, exactly. Suffice to say, you'll get it back.

I await their arrival.
As stated, I will post my thoughts and opinions on the series as I continue to watch it. And regardless of how much I may like or dislike it, I will watch the entire thing. I figure it's the least I can do if you're going to all this trouble.

The post office was quite an adventure. I got there and had no idea what I was doing so I said "Hay, postal guy I want to send this from here to here and he replied "okay, what you need to do is write who it is to and who it is from on the side of your box with THIS marker." So, I said okay and I went away with the marker and wrote the crap down and he looks it over and is like . "No, you did it wrong." "What?" I asked him. "You did it wrong" he replied, "from comes before to go back and write it again." So, I took the pen back rewrote it and brought it back and he says "Alright now its getting somewhere so he starts punching in the info and is like "that zipcode does not exist." "What?" I asked him. "It does not exist look up <city name> in that blue book to find the real one. So I go over to the book and let me tell you this book is huge and New Jersey has a lot of cities in it. Eventually I found out I wrote one to many 0's. I brought it back paid my dues and was informed it would be there in 2 days because i paid 9 cent more than the 3 day shipping so that I could go to the gas station and buy some "Planters Seasoned Heat Peanuts" without breaking a one dollar bill. In conclusion if the package gets there it will be a miracle.

How pleasant. I hate the post office. Incidentally, I've had to send packages out of state before, and I find priority mail to be the most efficient method... usually. It usually arrives in ~2 days, and is much more hassle-free than attempting regular first class mail. However, it's also a fair bit more expensive. Tend to get the job done right, though, except when the post office on the receiving end is crewed by morons (like the one time I tried to send before I had perfected the process; the package took 2 weeks to arrive, and was almost rejected because I addressed it to "The Smiths" instead of "Mr. Smith." Moronic, but our local PO isn't that stupid). Anyway, it's only an adventure the first time. After that, you know the quirks well enough to get things done pretty quick. So congrats, you've been initiated into USPS shipping culture.

1 X Package obtained! I'll try to find the time to watch at least one episode tonight. Once I get done watching for the day, I'll post up my progress and review in a separate topic. However, even more dangerous is that book; it very well might sidetrack me more than you expect. Did I forget to mention that I still can't believe you actually sent this to me? The well entrenched cynic in me is in denial still, I think.

Fine. Let's make a deal: One (or more) of you can go out and buy the DVD set, and FedEx it to me. When I receive it, I promise to watch the entire series (or at least, however much is in the set you send), regardless of how painful I might think that prospect is. I will then come back and report here how much I (dis)liked it. *Awaits package* *Doesn't hold breath* It arrived. Altl recovered from paranoiaDraxas knows my address. Altl has become paranoid **Moxy Fruvous' cover of "Psycho Killer" starts blaring** Edit: I want to point out that the ink on the letter was black originally, but I ran out of black ink so I switched it to brown, but instead it printed out purple. Figure that one out.

lmao just looking back it amuses the hell out of me but I am assuming that 1 the series never got reported on and 2 Altl got it back because of the lack of posting of pictures of coon goons mauling draxas. I should really get some time and money together and come up and visit you guys in newport news sometime too since I am right here in Greensboro, NC now.
