Ha. Haha. Hahaha.
Anyone care to guess what I did for my 29th birthday?
That's right, worked a 10 hour shift like a responsible adult.
Blah.

No, you're just a lucky responsible adult.

Nah, he's not all that lucky. His title says he's a Chemical Engineer, but he's really just a glorified plumber...^_^

My title says biochemist, but half the time, I do the exact same thing. The other half, I'm a glorified assembly line worker. Considering he's got an engineering degree, I probably make half as much as he does, too.

He has a Chemistry degree, not an Engineering degree. I'M the one going for the Mechanical Engineering degree.

Going for is not the same as having, dear brother. It is possible to have an engineering job without an engineering degree. They would have paid me the same if I had a chemistry or chem E degree. Which is not a whole lot, but then again, I just started in march. And we have really great benifits. Plus the start me at 1 1/2 paid vacation days per month.

Well, I'm severely underpaid for my job at 14$ an hour, but I'm doing engineering now without a degree...

I'm hoping to get a job over the summer, but no such luck. And because I'm a minor my hours are limited.

You are NOT severely underpaid. You are in a co-op. You are getting payed very well. My first job WITH A DEGREE only got me $13/hr. You need to put things into perspective. You're getting $14/hr without a degree.

I was told, specifically, that the company underpays co-ops for the work they do.
Yes I'm a co-op. Yes I don't have a degree yet. Doesn't change the fact that they admitted to the fact.
