1. LoZ 2. Final Fantasy III 3. Ninja Gaiden (You may not choose to count this, but he throws a Chakram sort of thing, and that's a type of boomerang. It comes back to him aswell . . . duh) 4. Megaman II 5. Adventure Island III 6. Adventure Island IV 7. Castlevania II And now the ones that score me points: 1. Goonies II 2. 8 Eyes 3. Castlevania III 4. Batman (the Batarang) 5. Batman Returns More on the way later, I have to go to school now . . . well, you know what I mean . . . I have to *attend* my online class . . . which requires me to pay attention . . . or I get burned . . . badly.

Hmm, let's see...
Accepted:
1. Legend of Zelda 2. Ninja Gaiden 3. Adventure Island 3 4. Goonies 2 5. Megaman 2 6. Castlevania 3 7. Batman
Pending confirmation:
8. 8 Eyes 9. Batman Returns
Rejected:
- Final Fantasy 3 - Adventure Island 4 Both were rejected because they're SNES games. NES games only! And if you're talking FF3j, I think the rejection should be obvious. Japan only games don't count! - Castlevania 2 No boomerangs or boomerang-type-devices anywhere in this game.
So no points scored yet, potentially +2 after I confirm those. There are more! Many more!
EDIT: 8 Eyes and Batman Returns are confirmed. +2 points for Notesurfer.

Draxas, I may be stupid, but I'm not that stupid. Adventure Island 4 and Final Fantasy 3 AND Castlevania 2 are all on the NES, and they all have boomerangs. *goes to Gamefaqs to double check*

*sigh* Look, I'm not trying to screw anyone out of any points. When I tell you an answer is wrong, it's because I know it's wrong. If you really want to show me up, give me some hard evidence. Otherwise, just trust me when I say you should try again. It's not like I've been enforcing the "one answer only" rule. If you think of more, give more answers, I don't care. But those 3 are wrong, for various reasons. Oh, and what I said about Adventure Island 4 being for SNES? I was wrong. It's for FAMICOM. It never made it to the states, just like FF3. That rule I WILL enforce. And believe me, I've beaten Simon's Quest to death many times, I would know if there was a boomerang in it. So yeah, I guess you are "that stupid." Notewrote: I'm really sorry man, I didn't want you to take it that way. I know your not trying to cheat anyone out of points, ur just trying to be fair. To be honest I thought I was going to have my evidence from Gfaqs before you replied, otherwise I would have waited. Sorry again . . .

Note, it's OK. Don't worry about it.
But... Search GameFaqs for Adventure Island 4, and read the first Walkthrough. It says in the intro paragraph that the game is fan-translated, and never came to the states. I know for a fact that the same story applies to FF3. We all know that Japan only games score no points.
And I wasn't arguing Castlevania 3. You got credit for that one. I was arguing Castlevania 2. No boomerang in that game.
Can we stop this now?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES had boomerangs.
Ugh, I should know more, but I don't. There's one, though.

I'm sad there have been so few answers for this question... So many games fit the bill. I think I'll leave this question up for a little while longer. These are easy points, I'm practically giving them away!
Anyway, because N3B wants it, here's one of his questions. If you guys are stumped, he scores the point.
N64 - Zelda: Ocarina of Time: Which dungeon has the symbols of all of the sages on its walls?
