you know, now that i think about it, i only play video games for their plot-lines. Only game that i've ever over-abused for the game itself was OoT and Gothic. Every other game i could get by with buying a book and reading the story. That explains why the only games i play are RPG's, or ones with lots of plot.

It's a random drop from beating Starman Supers. And Earthbound IS an RPG! A darn good one at that!

That above post was the answer to the question. I would modify to clarify, but I'd get in trouble. Starman Supers drop the Sword of Kings . . . it's a 1/128 chance of getting one though lol.

Like I said, you don't have to go overboard. +1 point for Notesurfer.
Current score:
Notesurfer: 10 Draxas: 7 PhoeniX: 6 Razor: 6 Raven: 4 Alt.L33t: 2 Niff: 0 N3B: 0 Garrant: 0
Next question comes from Notesurfer, so he scores the point if he stumps you:
SNES - Chrono Trigger: Who were the three gurus, what were their titles, and what happened to each of them?
Also (desperate final plea), I am STILL accepting answers for the boomerang question...

I can't think of any boomerangs in games, *cries* Super Mario Brothers 3 had enemies with boomerangs, but Mario/Luigi didn't use them -- they were in SMBA4, but that wasn't NES, that was GBA. I'll just name NES games and see what I get... Gremlins II Snake, Rattle, & Roll Digger T. Rock SMB3 SMB2 SMB Caveman Games Fester's Quest Yoshi Those were just a few of the games that my grandma has for NES. She still has them actually, but I haven't been there in a while. I like the NES, but I just can't think of any boomerang games. Yeargh.

Yeargh is right. Suffice to say, no points scored. Yeah, maybe I should just kill this question once and for all... Someone else tell me so first though.

Jeez Note, at least TRY to hit games that made it outside Japan. Notewrote: But Draxas, NONE of the good ones made it outside America! Besides, I specialize in Jap imports. The question's dead. Here's a bunch you all missed... Castlevania (the original, why wasn't this brought up?) Ninja Gaiden 2 & 3 (the windmill star didn't go anywhere) Clash at Demonhead (Another windmill star-like weapon) Powerblade & Powerblade 2 (The character's main weapon) Dragon Warrior 4 (The boomerang is a low-powered weapon that quite a few of the characters, main hero included, can wield) Megaman (Cut Boomerang) Megaman 3 (Shadow Star) Megaman 4 (Ring Boomerang) Joe & Mac (Another main weapon) Kirby's Adventure (Boomerang cutter power) Karnov (Boomerang sub-power) There are many others besides... Oh well. The Chrono Trigger question is still up for grabs. It's really easy... assuming you've played the game of course. And if you haven't, WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!
