Note, the CT question was mine. N3B only submitted the OoT question.
And the symbol for the Kokiri Emerald is nowhere to be found in the forest temple.
Time is running out on these... And nobody's even taken a shot at the Ogre Battle 64 one. Am I the ONLY one who played this game? If so, you people should run out and get a copy, it rules.

Advance Wars not working out for you? Play FFT, you really have to challenge yourself to do poorly.

Lol, it's not that I'm terrible at them . . . I'm just not incredibly masterful at them like everything else . . . And I'll probably get FFT lol.

I screwed myself on FFT for PSO. None of my characters were fast enough when I got to a protection mission and the character would get killed before I even got a turn... . As for OB64...never played it. I do know a bit, but only what I read in that old old issue of nintendo power (you know, the one on Pokemon Stadium?)

I had let my subscription expire long before the N64 even came out, so no, I don't know it. I still have the free copy of Dragon Warrior though! ;D
As for FFT, are you talking about "Roof of Riovanes Castle" where you battle the Assassins and have to save Rafa? If so, it's perfectly understandable, this is the most luck driven battle in the game. There are ways to manipulate the AIs behavior though...
Basically, your goal is to divert the attention of your enemies away from Rafa. In order to complete the mission, you simply have to put one of your three opponents into critical status, and they'll all flee. This is easiest to do against one of the Assassins, especially if Ramza or someone else has 2-Swords and a high attack power. Distracting them away from Rafa is a simple matter of creating another, more inviting target. Designate one of your generic soldiers as a decoy (for best results, use a female generic so she can't be invited or charmed, and subsequently ignored, by the Assassins). Take this decoy, and class-change them into a Chemist. Then remove all of their equipment. This makes them a much easier target to kill than Rafa, and the AI will charge merrily into your ambush in order to get at your "Naked Chemist," and completely ignore Rafa. Once they take the bait, use your other, normally-powered and equipped characters, to demolish (or at least critically wound, though I personally slew my target in one attack) the target of your choice.
That strat should get you through the battle with Rafa intact. Then again, you may be talking about a different protection mission... in which case you'll have to tell me which one before I can help.

Anyway, it looks like nobody is going to get the last 2 questions, so they're dead. +1 for me, +1 for N3B.
Answers:
The 5 characters from the original Ogre Battle that appear in Ogre Battle 64 are Destin, Debonair, Saradin, Aisha, and Gilbert.
The symbol of the Kokiri Emerald also appears on the front of the Deku Shield.
Oh well. Current score:

New question, easy question:
SNES - Contra 3: The Alien Wars: Where is the weak point of the first stage boss located?

Hmm.. Nevermind, found it. One of my save states was just behind it, at the plane place. Amidst all of the bony and gelatin stuff, there's a pulsating heart-like thing. Sorry if it's not a good description, I nearly killed myself aerialing today.. blargh. Sore neck

Fleh, good enough. It's actually attached to its knee, but whatever. +1 point for Niff (finally). By the way, it's 2AM here right now. If I was at work... well, God help me. Suffice to say I'm not. Evil Cowboy Bebop is too compelling, I HAD to watch. Must... Watch... the TV... Current score: Notesurfer: 10 Razor: 8 Draxas: 8 PhoeniX: 6 Raven: 5 Alt.L33t: 2 N3B: 1 Niff: 1 Garrant: 0New (hard) question: Playstation - Arc the Lad Collection: Who is the only character that joins your force in Arc 1, 2, and 3?It's easy if you played the games... Which means I know it. Period. Have fun!
