"Look. There's obviously nothing we can duo here now and time seems critical. We, however are flying blind as we were just told to come her and save people. So perhaps you could get moving and we can compare notes on the way..."
Tommy gestured to the object in his hand.
"...because THIS seems important."

Some narrowed his eyes.
"You're trying to tell me I should just abandon her?" he said slowly, "I don't care how important that thing is, I don't abandon my friends! I'm not leaving here unless I know she's not being left behind!"

While the humans were fighting and worrying over the artifact Lucario padded closer to the enormous woman. His ears folded in awe as he looked up, studying her as she seemed to fall asleep. Looking down at his paw he tried to summon just a little of the dark energy he had used before. Alighting his paw in it he tentatively held it closer to the blackness covering the woman. Hoping the blackness would shy from his paw he was careful not to touch the woman.

She watched the others and didn't contribute. She stared cautiously at the blackness, maybe it would take her back home. "Maybe that woman and the giant will pick us up soon?" he suggested.

Anor Londo
It was rather hard to read the expressions of the two knights, but they both seemed to be pondering. Solaire turned his attention towards Soma. "I'm afraid we have little choice in the matter. You simply must trust that your friend is strong enough to care for herself."
Meanwhile, Siegmeyer seemed more curious about Orihime's words. "A woman and a giant? I've never seen a giant use magic before, and this doesn't seem like something that could be solved with brute force alone..."
The giant woman did not stir at Lucario's touch, nor did the encroaching darkness halt. It continued to consume everything. The group would begin to find their viable standing options becoming quite limited.

Soma gritted his teeth.
"I don't like that answer," he snarled, "I came here because I wanted to ask for help finding her, and I still don't have any idea where she is. I won't just quit without even trying."
He turned toward the towering woman and called pleadingly, "Please, just answer one more question. My friend, Yoko Belnades, was pulled through the darkness just like I was, and I think she is here as well. If you know where she is, please tell me where I can find her!"

((Many apologies for the delay. I really expected someone else to have posted in the meantime.))
Anor Londo
The goddess did not stir...her form seemed to have become unstable as the darkness encroached...almost like she wasn't real in the first place. Solaire stepped up, lightly resting a hand on Soma's shoulder, then kneeling in quiet prayer. "If the Sun still watches over us...it may grant us guidance..." Even as he prayed, a mark in soapstone that radiated golden light appeared nearby, which they could see reading "Try jumping..."
Solaire opened his eyes and looked down...he couldn't help a chuckle. "Well, how about that...do you recognize the hand that wrote that, Soma? Might it be the friend you're seeking? Not that we seem to have much of a choice at this point...our foothold seems to be giving way quite rapidly."

Soma couldn't help but bark out a short laugh at the sense of deja-vu.
"Well, maybe this will go better the second time around," he said aloud, "See you all on the other side! ...I hope."
And he leapt.

Tommy strapped the artifact securely to his armor and followed.

Lucario slowly backed away and put his paws together. Uttering a soft prayer for this noble woman he bowed his head. When he was finished he turned and quickly followed the others, making sure Orihime escaped safely before he leapt in as well.

She looked to the tall lady and wished she had the power to help her. She jumped with the others, knowing she could help them.

The Void Between Worlds
The darkness returned as before...but the sensation of aimlessly floating alone was absent. You can see each other...the light of the Lordvessel strapped to Tommy's back illuminated the area around you, and almost seemed to tug you along. Kokonoe's voice could be heard echoing around you. "Well, that's not what I expected. Go ahead and open it up, Tager."
A brilliant tear of light opened up before you, and you found yourselves suddenly pulled through rather roughly...back to the Nexus. There, Kokonoe and Tager stood over the lot of you as you landed in a haphazard pile, and another female voice sounded out from behind them. "Soma!"

Soma's head darted around as he leapt to his feet.
"Yoko?"

The Nexus
Kokonoe tucked her lollipop in one cheek and stepped to the side, a hand on her hip. Tager stood at a nearby console, seeming to be examining readings. Meanwhile, Soma would be able to see Yoko standing not too far off, waving...to the others, she was a newcomer there. A blonde-haired woman in a short red dress with a black undershirt and tights. "It's about time you made it here, Soma."
After a bit of time, Tager moves to help up anyone who hadn't gotten up off the floor yet...especially the two warriors in heavy armor...while Kokonoe seemed to have her attention focused on the massive golden bowl on Tommy's back: the Lordvessel. "Excellent. You retrieved it. That little trinket should be just what we need to turn this fight around."

"What do you mean, about time?" Soma smirked, "I've been looking all over for you, while you were just hanging out here."
As he uttered the last phrase, Soma took a good look around for the first time.
"Where are we, anyway? And what happened to you back in the arena?"
