I pwn. TS2 rox. w00t. --=Multiplayer=-- Ice Station: Two generic turrets
Training Ground: Two generic turrets, four player-operatable autoguns.
--=Single-Player=-- Space Station: One plasma turret
Return to Planet X: Two very very large plasma mega-turrets, four plasma turrets (on the beach)
Siberia: Three generic turrets, one player-operatable autogun.
Atom Smasher: One player-operatable autogun.
Robot Factory: Three total Spherical player-operatable plasma autoguns.
Neotokyo: One player-operatable autogun.
Any self-made maps have the potential to have a turret placed on them.
Note to Draxas: You really should have specified what difficulty level this was for, because it's hard to give an accurate report without that info.

Wow, a lot of "close but not quite" answers for this one... I can't give you a point for this one Note, despite the fact that you were closest, because you would win. In good concience, you were all so close, I won't take a point either.
Answer:
Multiplayer:
Ice Station: 2 Standard turrets, facing out of two corners on the central tower. Training Ground: 2 Standard turrets, pointing out of the firing slits of bunkers. 4 Camera autoguns, 2 near each base.
Single Player:
Siberia: 1 Camera autogun, in the airlock of the Autopsy Lab. 3 Standard turrets, on top of the dam. Planet X: 3 Standard turrets, placed to repel the beachhead. 2 Anti-air Plasma Cannons, near the enterance to the alien base. NeoTokyo: 1 Camera autogun, inside the hacker compound. Atom Smasher: 1 Camera autogun, right near the start. Robot Factory: 3 Rail cameras, scattered through the complex. Space Station: 1 Plasma turret (2 on co-op), just outside the airlock.
I'll post up a new question shortly.

Here's an interesting one:
NES - Gauntlet 2: If, for some reason, you become trapped within a level and unable to reach the exit, how can you still find an exit and move on?
