How did I make Admin? Beats me. N3B just promoted me and Ranger one day about a week back without telling anyone. When Ranger presses the Big Red Button this time, the same hatch opens in the sand, and a set of Camspies hover out of the opening. Like their more dangerous counterparts, they also begin searching for targets...

Ranger squints through the sand. He slams his fist into the button again hoping to alleiviate the sand. With his other arm he aimed his wrist mounted laser carefully as he could in this sandstorm. a hot red beam struck across the arena in the general direction of JayDeth.
Ranger presses the Big Red Button yet again, and it finally yields the desired results... somewhat. The main display again changes the text:
ENVIRONMENT CHANGE: RADIOACTIVE STORAGE FACILITY ARMS FIRE IS PROHIBITED; ALL NONCONFORMING WEAPONS DISABLED
The desert fades away in a swirl of colors, and is quickly replaced by a green walled industrial complex. Dozens of barrels and crates labelled with the radiation symbol are stacked up in the area, awaiting transport.

The preponderance of hazardous materials in the No Fire Zone makes weapons fire a dangerous proposition, as any stray bullets have a good chance of rupturing a storage container. This could cause a radioactive materials leak, or worse, could set off a nuclear cascade, both of which would be exceedingly fatal to all parties present. Therefore, only Close Combat attacks are permitted in the No Fire Zone, and all attacks made with weapons of other types will be negated with no effect.

Kid decides that he likes all this chaos. The big red button seems to be bringing lots of fun and excitement to the arena. Kid walks back over to the computer and presses the red button.
He then switches weapons to his ZZT9MM and fires some bullets in the general direction of Jeral.
As Kidgame presses the Big Red Button, the spikes once again stab upward from the floor!
Bent is stabbed by a spike! Draxas is stabbed by a spike! JayDeth is stabbed by a spike! Jeral is stabbed by a spike! Ranger is stabbed by a spike! Razor is stabbed by a spike!
Kidgame's attack is negated!

Once again the room shimmers, but does not seem to change very much. The walls change shade from green to a dull metallic color, and the symbols on the containers change from Radioactive to Flammable, but otherwise, there is little difference in the layout. However, the competitors quickly discover that the lockdown on their weapons has been lifted...

The containers in this room provide a good deal of cover, but also contain explosive materials inside. Whether the risk is worhtwhile is up to the individual's judgement...
As a post-ending action, a participant may declare that they are taking cover behind a container. There are more than enough containers for everyone to do so simultaneously and not share a spot with anyone else, and any given container will provide 30% cover. However, these containers are also destructible and explosive. Each container is built to be fairly damage resistant, and has 15/15 HP to start. If a container is reduced to 0 HP, it explodes, and has an 80% chance to inflict 30 damage to whoever is taking cover behind it.
Containers may only be damaged when attacks against a competitor are blocked by the cover, and cannot be directly targetted. Containers are also considered Structural targets, and possess the relevant immunities.

ENVIRONMENT CHANGE: NATURAL GAS CONTAINMENT
The warehouse shimmers and fades away, and the original look of the arena that the round began in is restored. However, immediately after fading into existence, the sound and smell of natural gas being vented into the room becomes obvious to all present...

WARNING! Environmental hazard: Flammable Gas detected!
The entire arena has pockets of explosive gases swirling about, making any sort of weapon attack risky at best. Each time an attack is made, there is a 25% chance that it will throw a spark and ignite some of the gas. Once ignited, each participant has a 50% chance of being caught in the ensuing explosion, and taking 2d10 damage. There are a couple of exceptions to this rule: Unarmed attacks will never ignite gas. Explosive attacks will ALWAYS ignite gas, as well as increase each participant's chance to take damage to 75%.

Kidgame presses the Big Red Button, and nothing seems to happen... Until an Automated Sentry Gun attached to a rail system on the celing sweeps through the room, strafing the area with a Vulcan Cannon!
