Ryu stumbled back as the thug punched him square in the mouth, and responded to this adversity by slashing the thug across the neck.

Ryu stood on the rooftop, looking down at the corpses. They certainly weren't that tough individually, but they were numerous and persistent...
Ryu gazed out onto the streets. He was not far from the subway station mentioned on the scrap of paper. Perhaps he could learn more there...

Ryu had to think of something quick. He would certainly not blend in with the crowd, and the thugs could easily single him off and there would be the trouble of dispatching them. In the mean while, he would want to get a closer view of his surroundings, and possible diversions he could use to enter the subway without being noticed and began leap across the rooftops.

Hesitating for a second Pacman couldn't helping thinking that no doubt his son would be headed home soon anyway and there was little reason to bug him, however on the off chance this was not the case he better go ahead and remind him. Making his way through the streets to the Arcade's entrance the rumor of ghosts once again crept into his head....

Ryu
Ryu dashed across the rooftops, leaping over the occasional gap between buildings. It really wasn't far at all; Ryu spotted the entrance to the subway below when he reached the corner of the block he was running above. The area was surprisingly deserted, a remarkable rarity for one of the busiest cities in the world. Ryu had the distinct impression that something strange was going on, and his suspicions were confirmed when he saw a screaming couple run panicked as they fled into the city streetsfrom the subway station...

Pac Man
Pac Man pushed open the doors to the arcade and stepped inside. Despite the flashy sign outside, it was not particularly large inside. Most of the game machines were arranged in a circle around a central pillar, or arrayed alone the outer edge of the room. Most of the machines were vacant, and made the random boops and beeps to try to attract players. However, Pac Man spotted the one occupied machine in the back, and sure enough, there was Junior at the controls.
