I am getting opinionated by a bad review from PA but thats ok because they gave a review on MGS3:SE that I wouldn't agree with. well maybe a little. Still I am going to get it just like they did after throwing logic out the window.

I'm thinking about picking one up too. There have been ALOT of dead pixel problems, but hopefully they'll fix that sometime.

After hemming and hawing about it for some time, with the recent US release of the DS Lite, I went and picked one up. I have Animal Crossing: Wild World to go with it so far, and there are a few other titles I intend to pick up as time and money allows.
Who besides N3B has a DS at this point? I haven't been able to set up the wireless connection yet (I still lack regular PC access), but once I do, we could start a friend code swap board or something.
So yeah, who's got a DS, what games do you have, do you use it online, and would you want to post friend codes here?

I have my DS Lite from release day. I have Big Brain Academy and the new mario brothers. I plan to get AC:WW too and get it online and with freinds code. I don't understand how to setup the online thing yet though.

From what I've seen, it's pretty simple to do as long as you have wireless net access or the USB peripheral. It just doesn't play well with firewalls, though.

well i mean to say I don't even know where to begin with it though. I saw nothing about how to do it but then again I didn't really touch the manual yet so yea. Maybe I should.

Uh, yeah, that would be an excellent place to start. Considering that not only does the DS come with a WiFi connection manual, but so do games with WiFi compatibility.

Actually, you may be right; I think New SMB might only be local wireless. Animal Crossing is definitely internet capable, though.

Its really freakin' easy to get it on line, after all its 'tendo therefore they want the childrens to be able to handle these things, most the games you just go to Nintendo wifi set up and then you select either "search for access point" or manual set up assuming you know all your louter's specifics. If you have fire wall or anything like that the "search for access point" will do you very little good.
I bought my DS with Matt(see first post if you don't follow) on release day. (P.S. Thanks Nintendo for coming out with a slightly improved version of your product and screwing some of us over) As for the intertron I've got AC:WW and Mario Kart (a few others, but I'm not sure if they interweb).
