This...game...rocks. Available on PS2, PSP, and Wii...if you like the Metal Slug series (or similar games like Contra), or just enjoy a nice, simple, frantic fun time, CHECKTHIS OUT.
It's got 7 games on it. SEVEN. Each one is 5-6 stages long. Different paths provide a bit of replayability, but the best source of such is from friends...it's a new experience every time, and a total blast, even playing over and over again.
Just watch out for Metal Slug 2...there are technical slowdown issues with that game.

Metal Slug is an awesome series; a friend of mine rented the Wii version, and we had a blast. I'm personally waiting for the PS2 version to drop in price some, though.
The fact that Metal Slug X is on the disc makes the problems with 2 almost moot (almost); it's clearly the superior version in every way. I think 2 looks a lot like a rush job, which is probably why they released X some years later; it's clear that the designers have a lot of love for the series, and didn't want to shortchange the fans if they could help it.
3 is the best one, though.

Yes. 3 IS the best. 6 is right up there in my opinion though. Then X. Then 1. Then 5. Then 2. Then 4.
But they all rock the casbah. *drool*
2 has its slight differences in gameplay and looks too...the problem is they used the EXACT same engine as MS1, but threw a LOT more stuff on-screen.
