I actively stay as far from pokemon as I can. Yugioh I give a respectable distance as well. I got done rolling up a character all night last night just to not be able to play it till tomorrow. D&D ftl

List updated, with an amazing entry I wasn't even aware of the existence of until I spotted it (and immediately picked it up) in Gamestop today. I highly reccommend everyone with a PS2 to grab a copy of the SGC; the only Genesis titles by Sega that I can think of that I would want to play but are missing from this collection are the Streets of Rage games. Everything else is there, including the first rerelease of Phantasy Star 4 in the US, ever (which, as far as I'm concerned, was worth the $20 price tag alone).

Beat VTM:B again, next up is LoZ:OoT:MQ. I never actually played MQ because I had obsessed with OoT far too much and had completed every challenge possible and knew every secret and could get HPC's way before you were supposed to (I'd have like 14 hearts before entering the Forest Temple).
Wasn't too interested in MQ (played halfway through the Deku Tree and quit because it was pretty damn hard, considering I'm so used to breezing through the Deku Tree and killing Ghoma in like 6 seconds), but I was listening to the OOT soundtracks that I have and that got me interested in playing the game again (since it's been a few years). But then I figured "Why play OOT when I've beaten it 20334 times? I'll play MQ."
But not now. Because I've got an arse-load of physics to catch up on, my English 111 final to write, and college applications to do.

Master Quest mixed it up a little, but not really enough for my taste. Some of the dungeons were pretty tough, though the overworld is completely unchanged; if that's where you're getting your heart pieces from, you should still do OK.
List updated again. I should be picking up Twilight Princess within the next couple of days.

Took a serious effort, but I finally found MQ and my personal gamecube controller.
(had to dig through mountains of junk in my brother's room to find my precious controller)

Ghoma down.
No idea what was so hard about that the first time I played. I was probably charging head-first into everything and getting my arse handed to me by millions of those larvae-things, rather than sniping 'em off with the slingshot whilst they're still eggs. I dunno, but this should be fun.

List updated. It plays really well on GCN. I've been doing so since Saturday, which is why it's taken me so long to update this list.

After playing through OOT:MQ I have a desire to play MM.
As much as I enjoyed the abundance of side-quests, the darker atmosphere, the maturity of YL, the music, the quirks of the masks and different forms, the complex and unique dungeons, the game's more-emotionally-moving moments, the whole time system feels so restraining. Even though it's the central entity of the game, it feels more of like a burden than a benefit -- similar to all that sailing of WW.
What I absolutely love about MM as opposed to OOT is that there's always something to do besides dungeon-hopping. In OOT what little side-questing that's available to you can be wiped out in one swoop and leave you just going from dungeon to dungeon, which gets a bit monotonous. For me, I always go and get the Biggoron Sword right at the beginning (because Biggoron sword is the ownage), and that knocks out almost every "opportunity" besides dungeons as AL, until eventually you can do the Big Poe quest and the stuff in Gerudo Valley (once you have the bow).
To quote MrLegend off GFAQs: MM had a deeper and more mature story. Dragging a Zora back to shore, only to watch him "die" then going on a quest to save his children. Reviving a great Goron warrior to save an entire race. The story of the head carpenter choosing death over giving up his pride. A father being turned into a gibdo with possibly one of the best scenes in Zelda history. Reedeaming the land of the dead and brining peace to two feuding brothers. Kafei and Anju's love story. And of course, ninjas and pirates in one game. Just some of the highlights of the great story.
The game also had better dungeons. Just because there were less doesn't mean they wern't good. They were twice as long as each of OoT's dungeons. OoT's first three dungeons were a joke and only took as long to beat as the segments leading up to MM's dungeons. Stone Tower is also possibly the best 3D Zelda dungeon ever, excluding TP since I have yet to play it.
The game also had young Link being useful. I always liked young Link more since his story is more symbolic. A young boy coming out of no where and doing things that not even the army of Hyrule can acomplish.
I can't even get started on the coolness of the different masks.
However, OOT has that classicly glorious archetype-feel to it. While I like MM's atmosphere much better, it doesn't seem to feel quite as grand as OOT's.

In a nostalgic way I like OoT better, but purely gameplay, graphics, atmosphere.. and, well, overall quality wise, MM wins.
