One year ago, the boy named Soma Cruz was drawn into Dracula's sealed castle, Castlevania, during an eclipse. Through his exploration of the castle, and with the advisory of the mysterious Genya Arikado, Soma discovered his own latent power of Dominance, allowing him to sieze the souls of Dracula's minions to gain their powers. By the end of this adventure, he would learn of his true dark nature, and Soma struggled against the forces of Chaos, denying the destiny thrust upon him, and resisting the lure of becoming the new Dark Lord.
Now, however, a mysterious new cult has risen up, seeking to kill Soma and revive the power of the Dark Lord still sealed within him. Against Arikado's advice, Soma has decided to face this new threat head on, taking the bait left for him and infiltrating the cult's base...a place oddly reminiscent of Castlevania itself...

Soma is an extremely balanced character, magically powerful with a naturally commanding presence. He is remarkably skilled with a wide array of weapons, having been forced to use whatever he could get his hands on to survive his first venture into Castlevania. Soma's power of Dominance allows him to take the abilities of his fallen foes as his own, allowing him to equip their souls for varying effects.
Soma can equip Gloves, Daggers, Swords, Axes, Blunt Weapons, Polearms, Thrown Weapons, Pistols, Rifles, Energy Weapons, and Explosive Weapons as weapons.

(1 MP) Bat Familiar: Summons a Bat in the same zone as Soma that will fight on his behalf. Drains 1 MP per turn.
(4 MP) Lava Breath: (RAT-based, 6 Power, strikes all enemies in a single Zone at Range 1, any enemy starting their turn in the Zone targeted by this spell suffer 1 FIRE damage)
