N3B entered the Tavern, wiping the snow off of his shoulders. He then removed the cloak he was garbed in and threw it onto a nearby coat rack. Judy called to him from behind the bar saying: "You want a drink, sir?"
His throat was dry, naturally he replied positively. Looking about the bar, there were only a few people there; only about half of the normal crowd. He took a seat at the bar, as Judy handed him a beer. he gripped the handle of the mug, and chugged the foamy drink down.
Nothing else was left to do. he decided to wait there for a while to rest from the travel from the wilderness.

"To all in the tavern, i'm looking for a warrior in which to join. i have desires only to become stronger, and cannot do so without the aid of another warrior" Reldo said.
N3B turned in his stool, and gazed about the bar. no one else seemed interested. thinking this was a good opportunity, N3B raised his hand. "I'll take you into my party" he said.

OOC: that's how thing's work. the shadow'd part is the stuff posted by an overlord (whom i will accept later on). you all are free to mess around in here and talk to me, since i'm now in it. overlords would have to modify the "people in tavern" to put the people who are in the tavern. when you leave, role-play your exit and then put *LEAVES TAVERN* at the end.

OOC: well, there'd only be like 3-4 GLOBAL overlords. simmilar to global mods. they'd do everything. but there may come a time when there would be a need for individual mods. let me see if the need will arise during the planing process for this.

Notesurfer walked into the Tavern and handed Bartholow a piece of paper. He whispered something in his ear, then went over to get a drink. In a loud voice Bartholow began to read the paper.
HEAR YE HEAR YE! Notesurfer is selling a spell book for 100 experience points! All mages who wish to take advantage of this opportunity please step forth. The spell is Icy Wind!

and of course, we'd have the spell "icy wind" in the library which you could look up to see if you want it.

And if you're the correct level and element..

Level, yes. Element, no. Do people really have "elements" associated with them? Why can't a battlemage learn Firestorm, Earthquake, and Thunderbolt? They're all battle magic... Besides, isn't magic based on which runes you have equipped anyway?

i say, no elemental stuff. at all. of course, there might be a quest item like "The ice sword" which a person who cannot use a high level ice rune would use in a quest against a fire dragon.
that'd be the only time elemnts could be used, and owuld ONLY work against the singular boss.
