We got glitched again... So, it's Iteration #3!
Reprinted for your convenience!
Actually, I think I'm going to award the Quiz Master title to anyone who reaches 15 points. Quiz Masters can post their own questions without going through me first, and score points for them as they like. So keep at it!
Also, I think once someone hits 15, I'll probably reset the points to zero for everyone. So if you guys work hard (and get lucky), maybe someone can beat Notesurfer to the punch!

Now, let's see how well you folks know the game this site is about!
N64 - Perfect Dark: There is only one item that appears in the secret misions, that cannot be obtained by any means (other than a hacking device, like a Gameshark) in the normal missions. What item is it?

i would say the psychosis gun right off the top, but i think using an erned "all weapons" is against the question.
Then again, you do get a skedar bomb in MBR which you never get in any other, and without cheats

The Skedar Bomb is correct. +1 for N3B.
The Psychosis gun can be acquired using the cheat you get in Chicago, so that's no good.

New question:
NES - Castlevania 3: There are several bosses that are "multi-part," ie. you will have to fight multiple bosses, or the same boss several times, to win the battle. Which bosses are these, and what stages do they appear in (a rough description or boss and stage will do just fine if you don't know the actual names)?

Technically the Vampire bat, because he splits, and splits again, you know. He appears in stages 4 and 7 Then there's the Mummies and the Hammer cyclops in stage 4, path A The Water Serpents in stage 6, path A The Skeleton Dragon, from stage 6, path B Then in stage 7 the Mummies, Hammer Cyclops, and Gargoyle all gang up on you. The Grim Reaper of stage 8 And, finally Count Dracula from stage 10
Hopefully those are good enough answers.

Stage numbers mean nothing to me. Get back to me with descriptions, and you have first dibs on the point.

Okay, here it is: Vampire bat appears in a marsh level Mummies and Hammer Cyclops in the Haunted Ship Water Serpents in the sunken ghost city Skeleton Dragon in the underground catacombs The triple combo of Mummies, Hammer Cyclops, and Gargoyle are in a level that is underneath the castle. The Grim Reaper is inside the castle. And Count Dracula is . . . at the end of the game. Obviously. :-P

The question remains active. But here's a new one:
NES - Rygar: What time do the monsters awaken?

The CV3 question is dead. Technically, it should be +1 for me, but I'll send a +1 Note's way as well for being really close. The answer: Multi-part bosses: The Mummies + Cyclops fight on the Phantom Ship (2 separate bosses) The Orphic Vipers fight at the end of the Bridge to the Castle (Battle 2 separate heads simultaneously) The Vampire Bat fight in the Marsh (When the Bat is weak enough, it will split into multiple parts) The Bone Dragon King fight at the end of the Sunken Ruins (In the first fight, he will retreat after losing 1/3 health, and you must chase him down and fight him again) The Mummies + Cyclops + Leviathan Gargoyle fights, in both the Castle Crypt and the Castle Gardens (3 separate bosses; Notesurfer missed the one for the Gardens) The Grim Reaper at the end of the Castle Entryway (Grimmy, then the Giant Skull, 2 separate bosses) Count Dracula, at the top of the Castle Keep (First Drac, then the 5-headed Beast, and then the Demon Statue, 3 separate bosses)Current status: Notesurfer: 0 Draxas: 14 Razor: 9 PhoeniX: 8 Raven: 5 Alt.L33t: 3 Niff: 4 N3B: 2 Garrant: 0Notesurfer is on the verge of winning this thing! Can anyone eke him out at the last second? DASA: oh, i can... New question: Genesis - Cyborg Justice: There is a certain type of arm that you can only get at the start of the game or from a boss. Which arm is it?

Thanks for the point Draxas! Now, I have to say I don't play many Genesis games, but as I recall the answer is: The Boss Arm

Uh, no. No multiple guesses on this one either, too few answers (if you don't totally guess). ;D

how about Laser arm? suprisingly (as i saw) boss arm was really an arm

+1 for N3B. Nice work! However, the Boss Arm is not an arm you can actually use. If you manage to steal a boss's arm and attach it, it changes to a Laser Arm. Thus the question.

Anyone going to take a crack at the Rygar question? Anyway, here's another one:
SNES - Smash TV: Which special weapon only appears during boss fights?
