SHEIK
The water is soothing, and before too long, several fairies shyly flit from behind the sparse greenery, and begin to flutter about over the small lake.

RAZIEL
Kain sees Raziel relax his stance, but continues to add to his fireball. "You are wise, Raziel, to just accept your fate. This will be over so much faster that way!" The Count stands aside, aloof, and appears to be enjoying the exchange.

Raziel grunts. "I won't fall to you, Kain." He lowers his stance a little more.

RAZIEL
Kain replies, "Big words, Raziel, but empty threats."
He releases the fireball, aiming directly for Raziel's chest.

OOC: Since I am asleep, what do I do? Create some kind of dream sequence or wait for you to make the next event?

MITSURUGI
Mitsurugi stumbled a few steps toward the prone, laughing figure of Taki before collapsing into unconciousness.
I have a weapon that can best any blade!
None can match my steel.
Oh? Then I propose a challenge to you. We will duel. I will use my rifle. You may take your sword. We will see who is first to fall! If you win, I will give you the weapon, despite the fact that I could sell it for a fortune. If I win... well, then you will see the truth firsthand. I hold the future in my hands...
.....
CRACK
.....
You see samurai, you are the last of a dying breed. No, you are the last of an obsolete breed. The world no longer has need of your kind... The age of the sword is over...
Mitsurugi awoke with a start. He hated reliving those moments, especially when he slept... He realized with a start that he was no longer in the shrine. In fact, he was no longer anywhere near it...
Mitsurugi unsteadily climbed to his feet, and took in his new surroundings. He had never before seen anything like this, or even anything close. He was apparently in a small room... No, not a room. A corridor, though a very short one. It was made entirely of a glowing blue metal, which seemed to pulsate and shift colors, almost as if alive. At one end, the corridor was entirely blocked off by a very strange object. It rose from the floor, made entirely of a strange grey metal that reflected his image like a mirror. It had a flat side facing him, though it angled back to touch the walls near the sides, making three surfaces which looked to be of equal area. Near the top of the object, round bands encircled the three sides in a semicircle, and atop them, reaching to the celing, was a slightly smaller cylinder. Mitsurugi could just barely see that this top cylinder did not touch the walls, and that the corridor continued on past the object.
On the other end of the short corridor, there was a metal ladder leading upwards, through the celing. A pool of light was visible on the ground by this ladder, seeming to imply that the ladder led outside, and he was underground...

JIM RAYNOR
Suddenly, a vivid mental image of Kerrigan, surrounded by the Swarm, pops into Raynor's head.
Jimmy... I'm waiting for you... Don't disappoint me...
The image vanishes as quickly as it came, leaving Raynor reeling and disoriented. He quickly regains his bearings, just as Ramirez asks him, "So what do we do now, Commander?"

A little off he turns to Ramirez...
"We go in..." Raynor said very calmly and dull eyed.
As they began looking at the tentacles waving about as if daring them he thought momentarily of his lost family. His son the psychic taken into the ghost program and died in it. His wife unable to recover from this development dying from the flu a year later. He flashed over getting lost in his work and the destruction of Mar Sara. He thought of the time he spent in the employ of Arcturus Mengsk and the time he spent on his own. He had managed to live through all that this shouldn't be able to defeat him he thought as he pulled a grenade off his belt and got ready to throw it at the colonies.

JIM RAYNOR
As Raynor stood poised to throw the grenade, the vision jumped into his head again...
Don't be a fool Jimmy... Don't throw your life away... Come to me...
And then, once more, the world came back into focus as Raynor swayed on his feet. Torres ran to help support him, and asked, "Are you all right, sir?"

"Fine" Raynor said.
The tentacles in the distance seemed to be calming down a bit to him. In an almost welcoming action.
"Sit tight guys I may need you to rush in a in a little bit" Raynor ordered his men. With that he began walking into about the closest thing he had to hell right now. The girl he had fought with, rebelled with, and had a lot of good small talk with, changed into something as a gross genetic expirement of his enemy. He shuddered as he remembered that day. They had arrived moments too late to save her but had managed to get some of the last refugees off Tarsonis before the full power of the Zerg and Protoss fighting hit. He walked inside the living base and got ready to speak with the Queen of Blades.

JIM RAYNOR
The hike back to the primary Hive without the remainder of his squad was unnerving at best. When the small team had entered this area, it had been abandoned, a wasteland of steel that the Swarm had been pushed back from. Now, it was a teeming hive cluster, with the various and sundry breeding grounds of all of the Swarm's warriors having taken root in the Creep that covered the ground. As the Hive loomed closer, Raynor had the worst unsettling feeling of being watched, even though he had only seen drones scuttling back and forth between the structures of the Hive Cluster. But he knew the warriors of the Swarm were nearby, likely underneath the surface of the Creep...
Finally, after the journey, he was at the gates of the Hive. The hulking forms of Overlords hovered in the air above the spires of the Hive, and Raynor knew they were watching his every move. Interspersed among them were screeching Mutalisks and crab-like Guardians, though none of the warrior forms were taking any hostile actions. On ground level, dozends of drones came and went through various openeings in the Hive, some of them carrying minerals or sacs of Vespene gas in their mandibles. Larvae also crawled slowly and aimlessly about, feeding on the Creep secreted by the Hive. Even as Raynor watched, several of them metamorphosed into egg forms, as they prepared to mutate into any of the dozens of Zerg creatures... The entire process was revolting to Raynor, and he turned away from the sight.
As if in response to his thoughts, a man-sized opening drew open in the side of the living Hive, almost as if beckoning him inside...

Raziel yells out, jumping straight towards Kain. The Soul Reaver lets out a hum and leaves a blue streak in the air as he swings it down at the fireball.

Mitsurugi shook his head in disbelief. The aftereffects of the dart left him slightly disoriented, and the alien surroundings could only add to it. He stared at the strange geometric object in front of him, trying to think of a way to approach it or overcome it. Without an answer, he looked back at the ladder and walked towards its base. He gazed upwards to see light pouring down with such intensity that he couldn't determine what is beyond the ladder. Disregarding such fact, he grasped the metal rungs and made his way up.

RAZIEL
With expert timing, Raziel's slash falls directly through Kain's firball... And the projectile explodes violently, blasting Raziel backward a good 10 feet and directly into the Spectral Realm. Raziel picked himself up off of the ground, and checked his surroundings. This area of the Spectral Plane rather closely mimiced the Material Plane, but something seemed wrong...
And then the mists gathered, there was another explosion of blackness, and Count Dracula stood before Raziel.
