Your character sheet was the place you posted the dice question. I'll use it to track your progress.

We have 4 complete characters: Duran (Niff), Jim Raynor (Ranger), Mitsurugi (NeoPhife), and Sheik (Raven).
We have 1 character who has been confirmed, but hasn't done stat rolls yet: Magus (Notesurfer)
We have 2 characters awaiting confirmation: Innos (N3B) and Orlandu (Diamonddagger).
We have 1 character under construction: Raziel (Razor).
Everyone who has rolled stats still has the reroll option available to them.
Good work everyone! Our only problem is that there is still nobody who will learn healing techs or spells early, nor will they be particularly useful once they do learn them. Only Duran (and possibly Innos) will learn a healing skill that can be used on others... Orlandu and Raziel will learn drain attacks, but these will only be useful to themselves.
If anyone else wants to sign up, we are in desperate need of a healer! Some examples of healer characters:
Peach (Super Mario Bros.; Mage type) Rosa (Final Fantasy 2; Mage type) Banon (Final Fantasy 3; Balance type) Cristo (Dragon Warrior 4; Balance type) Arc (Arc the Lad; Balance Type) Paula (Earthbound; Mage type) Tara (Lost Kingdoms 2; Mage type)
That is by no means an exhaustive list, and are just the first bunch that sprang to mind.
Don't get me wrong. We will be able to have a good game without a healer. But having at least one in the group will make everyone's lives more than a little easier, plus there won't be as much reliance on consumables.

I am back from vacation, and now I'm excited to be able to get this started!
Half of you have complete characters. Because you will all start out separately, this is not going to be a problem right away. However, I would really appreciate if the other 4 of you could expedite character creation. I'm also accepting new players still, so you can sign up even though this will start shortly.
Of course, 8 is certainly a respectable starting group. I will begin the individual plotlines either tonight or tomorrow (depending on whether I can use the PC tonight, probably tomorrow). Of course, I can't start your plotline if your character is incomplete...
Also, if you requested a character, but want to drop out, just let me know please. I understand that stuff happens.

As you all have likely seen, the RPG has begun.
Notesurfer, Diamonddagger, and N3B, please finish up your characters so I can start your plotlines.
Everyone else: If you like what you see, and were hesitant to join before, it's not too late to sign up. Just post your character requests here.

Merlin, Link is nearly complete and awaiting your confirmation. If you like the way he turned out, post up stat rolls, or ask me to roll them for you.

OK, roll 'em up and post 'em here then. If you don't have dice handy, just go to random.org and use their random integer generator. Or just ask, and I'll roll for you.

To use the random.org RNG:
Under the green "How?" column, click the "random integers" link.
For each field:
Enter the number of dice you want to roll in the first field. Leave field #2 as "1." For field #3, enter the number of sides you want your dice to have (usually 6). For field #4, enter "1" for ease of reading.
Then just click the "Get Numbers" button below the form, and it should come up with your rolls.
Anyway, I'll roll stats for Link to make it easier. But you'll need to use the RNG for your attack rolls.

I just use my mIRC dice script...

Whatever works is fine with me. I don't require you to use any particular RNG, just as long as you use one without a bias.
Merlin, Link's stats are rolled. Let me know if you want to keep them, reroll 1 stat, or reroll them all.

As I said to Raven, dying has different effects depending on where, when, and under what circumstances it occurs.
I've rerolled your HP. I'll post up the plotline sometime soon.
