Anyone heard of this game? It's quite a laughable ordeal which amused me for some time while I was procrastinating on an assignment. It's not advisable to read all of it, but the site does link to several external sources which themselves are also quite amusing. For the synopses, click "The Game" and "Controversy" in the right "Info" column. The "Assets" column shows direct comparisons of many of the plagiarized areas. For an even shorter synopsis: it's an obnoxious adventure game that appears to plagiarize all kinds of things from other games and other media. There was a big brouhaha on various forums with a developer posing as multiple different posters and causing problems. lotl.wikia.com/wiki/Limbo_of_the_Lost_Wiki

Iteresting read. This Bovis fellow must have both a tiny brain and a gigantic set of cojones to think he could have gotten away with it.

Indeed. The sheer volume of plagiarized images is truly astounding. Also, the ending video was incredibly strange. o_0
Related: did anyone else ever download random RPG maker games and try to figure out what other 16 bit titles the graphics were stolen from? I remember there being some controversy back then about whether or not it was okay to use an existing sprite as a model.
Also applies to sprite comics, although those were usually intentional/blatant.

See RPGM2000 (I think), ripping off at least 1 song from Earthbound.
