Make the Transformers actually come from a universe of midgets, so they're normal-sized compared to everyone else?

Not to be a smart ass... but wouldn't the midget idea make his transformed form about the size of one of those battery powered kiddie cars? ^^;
And secondly... Hello everyone. Sinim convinced me to try and participate here if you would allow. I'm a friend of Razor and Sinim, and if I remember Razor asked me if I'd like to participate in this before. ^^; Now I think I might have the time and know how to try.

Somehow I now picture a "What is love?" style scene with Thrall driving, and it makes my insides cry...

Welcome Felix! Always happy to have new faces around here. Feel free to request whoever you like, and I'll see what I can do to oblige you.
And yes, Bumblebee would transform into a Power Wheels if he was the same size as everyone else. I'd like to spare him that sad, sad fate. Now, if this was G1 Bumblebee, on the other hand...
Unless someone comes up with a better idea, it currently looks like Bumblebee (and most other TFs, for that matter) are going to become victims of the size limitations inherent in a game where numeric stats are important. If you have any better ideas how to work him, please speak now; otherwise, I'm afraid you'll have to forever hold your peace and choose someone else.

That is sad. I was looking forward to seeing a transformer RP'd. XP And Thank you Draxas. Razor already knows what I'd like to request. ^^; I have a small obsession with Lucario. If that would be possible I would greatly appreciate it. If it helps, I would like you to base his abilities after the movie and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Mostly the movie though, which if you need as a reference I have. ^^; I do not know however what you want to do with back story. I'd like to play myself, and if possible create my own back story, but if that is against the spirit of this RPG I understand and I will do my best to play the Lucario from the movie. Thank you for your consideration Draxas. I'll check back often to see what you decide.

Lucario should be a snap. Practically any character depicted in a Smash Bros. game has a very detailed moveset and stat distribution, to say nothing of the fact that he's a Pokemon (who are known for even more detailed versions of the above). As for plot, well... I can't do anything with the plot of the movie (despite the fact that I rather enjoyed it, as Pokemon movies go); when I first started running this game, I was forced to limit character depictions to what appears in their games only, because the power creep and inflation present in media like anime would quickly cause things to get out of hand (not to mention that most anime are well out of my area of expertise and ability to research). However, between the games, I think it shouldn't be much of a problem to work something out. I have a plotline in mind already...

To be fair, Lucario was pretty badass in Brawl's story mode.

Felix, Lucario's preliminary profile is up. Please roll stats at your earliest convenience if you like him, or request a new character if you don't.
Now that I'v actually whipped up the character sheet, I must say that Lucario really is significantly more badass than I would have expected. That Steel-type really goes a long way toward making him a tough nut to crack in many respects, though in others it could definitely be considered a liability. Still, he's innately resistant to 3 of the 8 elements; that's nothing to sneeze at.

Here's a thought. If you're concerned about a starting level bumblebee seeming too fragile for what he is, lets look at the end of the movie. Who knows what the destruction of the allspark could have done to him and the others. You could say it severely weakened him and he needs time to "heal". I could go with another character, but I just see so many possibilities for fun here. I guess if nothing else, we could make it G1 so he'd be smaller. Or I could look through the list and find an autobot who's even smaller still. There's an autobot version of Knock Out from the ROTF line. Though not in the movie, he is in the toy line and appears in the book Transformers: The Veiled Threat. He would be a good bit smaller, but we know very little about him.

Actually that is very nice. Thanks Draxas. I do have just two things though. While I agree with your depiction of the lone guardian, and with him being alone, I was hoping to just add a little more character to him and not have him be or sound quite so coldhearted. Since you've seen the movie I can reference it, Something along the lines of how Lucario was attached to Sir Arron. Not that it's all that important or anything since I guess it wouldn't particularly affect the game we're playing. ^^; Other than that I was wondering if it's possible to make him a little more focused on the special attack aspects? I apologize for being a pain in the ass if I am, but I've always focused more on the aura sphere, and various pulse attacks more than the physical attacks, even though he does have some good ones. Let me know, and if you'd prefer to keep him as is that's ok too. ^^

Felix: I did a bit of checking, and I don't think you have much to worry about. Most of Lucario's attacks are Fighting or Steel type, and so are going to run off his ATK stat anyway. Aura Sphere will have its own set of special rules and is a very powerful tech in its own right (though this means it will not be available right away), so no worries there. Besides, I need some negatives to balance out his major stat boosts; according to the Pokemon games, he's practically legendary grade material, so I needed to amalgamate his Smash persona in order to balance him out a bit. As for editing his background, I'm afraid I can't do it. As stated above, I can't include anything that's not game-canon, no matter how much I liked the movie. If I open that door, it won't be long before someone's DBZ Cell is exterminating entire worlds of life with a thought, just because he can; that's the kind of power inflation I need to avoid. I've already indulged a bit by granting him Telepathy; Version 1's Pikachu had a much harder time with communication, and technically Lucario should have the same obstacle to overcome. Sadly, that's where I have to draw the line. Sinim: I'll see what I can do with Bumblebee. I can't go with anyone who hasn't appeared in the games, so Knock Out is, well, knocked out. And for the sake of bringing a bit of joy to everyone (especially anyone who is confused about TF nonsense, or has no idea what we're talking about but had some Go-Bots growing up), I present to you this: tfwiki.net/wiki/BumblebeeThe slightly more relevant version: tfwiki.net/wiki/Bumblebee_%28Movie%29

Alright. I understand, I appologize for being difficult, and I'd like to thank you for being as leanient as you have. Thanks for explaining a little about the stats as well. I understand perfectly now and I'll do my best. Other than that I have no qualms and can't wait till something happens. ^^ I'll roll stats when I get home and run them by you guys.

Yeah...that's what I figured...and why I was hoping to make bumblebee work. If we need to do old school bumblebee to be smaller we could. I'd rather not, but he did appear (and I use the term loosely) in "The Transformers" for Commodore 64.

Ok so I'm very impatient when I get excited about participating in something... I found a virtual die roller and got these stats.
HP: 19 HP TP: 25 TP
ATK: 11 DEF: 12 S-ATK: 6 S-DEF: 9 AGL: 19
I'm not sure if there are any additions but those are the bases.
