Lucario's eyes grew wide at the massive weapon aimed at him and his carrier, the ship alone seemed too immense to be real... having a weapon of such a size as well was just obscene. As he fell from loosing his grip on Meta Knight's hand he flailed, trying to get his feet under him, but as the blackness enveloped him up and down became indistinguishable and he hit the ground with a pained grunting whimper. With a groan he propped himself up on all fours and shook his head before opening his eyes to have a look around. Much to his dismay he could see nothing... not even his own paw in front of his muzzle. Try as he might he could not use his aura to sense anything either, and this truly frightened him. His breath quickened as he turned to look in all directions, including up, trying to see something... anything. Finally, as he realized the hopelessness of his efforts he began to calm down, though his mind began to fall into despair.
"Why...? Why me? Why would such a monstrosity come to annihilate me and my home? What have I ever done to deserve such a fate...? Those wretched outsiders..." He muttered to himself with a growling tone and a frustrated grimace. His clenched paws would begin to unconsciously glow with his fighting aura due to his frustration as he stood there... alone.

As Thrall blasted one of the Centaurs with lightning, they surged forward to attack. Thrall could do nothing as he watched one of his Troll warriors have their head severed at the neck by a fierce blow from the one he had targeted, seemingly not slowed down at all by the magical energies that rocked its system. The other Centaur moved to confront Thrall directly and scored a gash across his arm, before the combined might of the remainder of his band brought the horse-man down with a flurry of blows.

LUCARIO
As Lucario's aura glowed around him, he was surprised that it drove back the darkness a bit, and he was able to see himself, if not his surroundings. However, it soon became irrelevant as parts of the floor began to glow a sickly red. It seemed to Lucario is if he were standing on a slab of obsidian, shot through with glowing red veins of twisting, wisp-like energy. The ground did not dtratch far, and he only had a few dozen yards in any direction before the edges of his platform dropped off into the darkness once more.
Lucario initially thought that he seemed to be suspended in a void... Until he turned around. Behind him, cast in a bloody glow similar to his platform, was his mountain home. The distance was much too far for him to leap even at his peak performance, which was not the case after his exhausting ordeal with Meta Knight and the airship. The mountain itself seemed to only consist of the summit and perhaps the last mile below, and encompassed little more than the peak and his cave before it too disappeared into the void.
As he watched, it seemed to him that slowly, and then faster and faster as they became more numerous, tiny dark motes began to crawl and swarm scross the surface of the mountainside. They began to envelop it, and slowly drowned out even the crimson glow that was cast upon it...

"Hmph...nothing but savages..." Thrall growled deep in his chest as he stepped forward, surveying the carnage, and paying great attention to the bovine man that the centaurs had killed. "I led my people here to escape this kind of pointless conflict..." His chest heaved with a sigh, and he lightly pressed his hand against the wound he'd suffered. The scroll he had could certainly heal the wound, but he didn't want to use it when it would only benefit him. "Take what you can from the dead...we must find out more of these savage horse men, discover where they may have taken our brothers, and learn why they are attacking these bull creatures."
In preparation for further conflict, however, he quickly consumed the mana potion he had.

Lucario watched the nightmarish scene in horror. His home... his life... dissolving into shadow. He would try hard to focus his aura as he held up a paw, trying anything that might help him find a way over to his home so he could attempt to defend it. His despair and anger calmed as he accepted his fate, but that didn't mean he had to like it... and his cold, determined demeanor returned with a vengeance as he looked around with the light of his aura.
