I feel I made my current character a bit too rigid and thus boring to play. Is it okay if I abandon Altl for the time being and roll another?

you're always welcome to start fresh as far as I know. Or you could merely change the way that Altl reacts to situations and thus change his character.

Just because your character starts out rigid, doesn't mean his attitudes can't gradually change and evolve based on his experiences. Personally, I think he's one of the more unique characters I've seen.
However, if you really don't like him at all, I won't stop you from starting from scratch if you like. However, I can't let you play 2 characters at once; it lends itself to abuse too easily. Thus, Altl's log will be closed and locked against further entries.

Fair enough, I think you've convinced me though I'll "evolve" him into something I'd perfer.

*is glad someone got the pokemon pun*
Okay, I'm not sure if I asked this before and I'm too good for looking back at the previous pages, but in battles am I just restricted to the commands before or am I allowed to attempt other things like interact with the scenery. Perhaps if a chandeler(sp) was over the moster could I attempt to attack that so that it fell on top of the monster.
I imagine its possible, but I'm just checking so that I don't go outside of restrictions.

You can interact with the environment to a limited extent, and it may or may not work out as you expect. However, don't expect new environmental items to simply pop out of nowhere; I don't recall seeing that chandelier described anywhere. If you do try something unorthodox, be sure to describe it thoroughly so the OL can respond appropriately.

much like when I ran to push the cart in the mines. It is a free RP zone there is nothing limiting you completely to commands we strive to have outside the box thinking as long as it still looks like its reasonable. Saying I fly through the walls with no clip and batter their heads off with my penor is not gonna fly well obviously.

The above actions will probably result in unconciousness and bobbitization, actually. But it would probably be fun to OL that post. ;D

Are quest rewards obtained from the Adventurer's Guild or from the person that gives the quest, this is kind of key for me to continue my post.
On an off topic note, Harvest Moon: Magical Melody is a great game.

Rewards for quest completion are granted when you return to the Adventurer's Guild, and confirm that your quest is complete.

Hey, I can be just as cracked out as the next guy. Moreso, when challenged. Of course, your character's life has just taken a turn for the strange...
