PIKACHU
Kenneth glanced down at Pikachu, smiled, and shrugged his shoulders helplessly. He settled back and tried to get comfortable, as did most everyone else.

MARIO
Mario uses Stomp against Red Koopa Troopa #2 (11+6+4+2-10=13)! Red Koopa Troopa #2 takes special damage from Stomp! Red Koopa Troops #2 takes 26 HP damage! Red Koopa Troopa #2 has been KO'd! Red Koopa Troopa #1 uses Withdraw! Red Koopa Troopa #1's DEF increases by 2! Red Koopa Troopa #1 is defending!
As Mario stomps down from the air atop the Troopa, a cheer erupts from the crowd. The Troopa, as always, stood no chance against the might of Mario's boots, and was bashed hard into the ground and knocked unconcious as it peeked its head out of its shell to see what was going on. The other Troopa saw the fate of its friend, muttered "Oh crap!" and futilely tried to duck into its shell to protect itself...

SHEIK
Sheik entered the door, and found herself inside a grand library. Enormous bookshelves covered every wall, and were filled with all manner of tomes of unknown origin. A very soft red plush carpet covered the floor as well, muffling the noise of her footsteps. Directly ahead of Sheik was a large desk, with a strange fellow wearing blue robes, a conical hat to match, and a pair of very thick glasses with dirt-swirled lenses sitting behind it. Sheik could not see past his glasses, as they were practically opaque, but his mouth hung open, he was snoring loudly, and oddly enough, a rather large bubble seemed to be emanating from his nose, all of which indicated that he was fast asleep. Just behind the desk, a pair of staircases led up to an upper balcony, where even more books lined even more shelves. Each wall, on both upper and lower levels, had a rolling ladder attached to the bookshelf, to allow for easy access to books on high shelves. The whole room radiated opulence, and lent a very stark contrast to the rest of the castle that Sheik had seen thus far.

FELIX
Felix walked over to the double doors, and his hopes sank as he spied a keyhole on this set as well. Unsurprisingly, these doors were also locked.
Did I miss something here? thought Felix, Usually it's the OUTSIDE door that's locked...

ORLANDU
"Cid, wait!" shouted Agrias as the group tried to keep up with him. Cid charged down the stairs, and was the first to reach the bottom of the book storage. The others caught up to him shortly, and quickly found out why he had stopped. Before them was a group of sorcerers, gathered around a magic circle which glowed with barely restrained powers. Overseeing this operation was Rofel Wodring, one of Vormav's top lietenants. He spotted the group, and signalled to his cohorts, all of whom turned to face Orlandu and his allies.
"Welcome Ramza! We've been expecting you!" Rofel shouted with false cheer, "Oh, and Meliadoul too! Your father will be so pleased!" Rofel grinned maliciously, and Meliadoul seethed with anger, drawing her sword ever so slightly from its scabbard.
"Rofel!" shouted Ramza, "Where is my sister? What have you done to her?"
"Not to worry, Ramza," responded Rofel, "Alma is in good hands. Vormav is seeing to her even now, and soon she will be prepared to receive the spirit of Saint Ajora! The Bloody Angel will rise once more, and all Ivalice will tremble before our might!"
"Unfortunately for you, Ramza," continued Rofel, "you won't be alive to witness our triumph. Because you see, I'm going to have to kill you and your companions right here, right now. Vormav cannot afford to have you interrupting him at this late stage. So perish by my blade!"
Rofel drew his sword, and his team of mages began chanting spells, as Ramza and his group prepared for battle...

PROTOMAN
Protoman peeked his head down into the laboratory. As he had suspected, it was indeed abandoned, save for a half finished robot lying on a single table, and a plethora of inactive items of heavy machinery, used for construction. There was only one exit, a pair of sliding double doors on the far side of the lab, past all of the tables.

MITSURUGI
"Ah excellent! In that case, I would like to show you a map of the world. All you have to do are point out these 'Japan' and 'China' places to me, and we'll be all set to go!"
Mitsurugi looked down at the map... It was similar to, and yet nothing like, the maps he was used to seeing. He could not read a single word that was written on the map, as it was all written in a strange language he did not understand. He picked out a landmass on the far right of the map which resembled China, but was also not quite right... And what was worse, the islands he had visited and lived on that were off the coast of China: Japan, Okinawa, and all the others, were nowhere to be seen...
"You seem dismayed," noted Dr. Andonuts, "Is something wrong with my map?"

DURAN
Duran hurried below deck, as the Captain stopped the ship and prepared to negotiate with the Beastmen. Duran could hear the tromping of feet above him on the main deck, and then silence for a long time...
Abruptly, and without any warning from the Captain, the ship began to move again.

MAGUS
"Ah yes," intoned the rat, turning to one of the books, "Indeed I can. While you may not be from this world, and I can sense this easily, I also sense that you possess vast magical power. This will be a useful skill if you intend to return to your point of origin. I do not know what brought you here, but I have sensed a disturbance in the fabric of reality nearby here. They are, perhaps, related to each other. I would suggest you seek out this disturbance. It can be found in a place referred to as The Caryards. Making your way there is your responsibility, however, and is not something I can directly aid you with."
The rat shuffled through several of the scattered tomes for a moment, before leaving them alone. "Seek a way to go to this place. Your questions may well be answered there."

RAZIEL
Gaspar shook his head slowly, "I do not know of this Moebius you speak of, nor am I responsible for what has happened. Much as I was when this place was simply The End of Time, I am but an observer. I wait here, able to see all that happens, but unable to influence it directly at all. I am a victim of circumstance, much like you, Master Raziel."
"However," the old man continued, "Know that I am here to do my best to help you. In order to do this, there is information about our situation that I wish to share with you. If I start from the beginning, the details are quite long and involved. If need be, we have much time, but first I wish to know how much you understand. The less time we spend on explanation, the more time we will be able to spend on other, more important, types of preparation."

OOC: Okay, fine, since you think I was "randomly teleporting" which I was not btw, I thought that was my next step of action . . . I NEED TO KNOW WHAT GAME THIS IS!!! Or at least a genre . . . or storyline . . . it's perfectly clear I've never played it. "The Caryards" is obviously more important than I realized. Thus, my accidental "teleportation"
IC: "Where can I find this Lone Star . . . he may be able to help me find the 'car yards'" Magus surmised as he left the building. "He's obviously an officer of the law, but where to find his home . . ." It was right about now that Magus began to miss his spells even more. Aggrevated, he began searching the night streets in for this man known only as "the Lone Star."

MAGUS
I'm convinced I've had a discussion with you bout this game sometime in the past, or at least someone on this board.
Magus walked down the sidewalk, not really having a clear idea where to go. The dim circles of illumination did not give him much to get his bearings by, but before long he arrived at an intersection. A cross-street similar to the one he was following ran to the right and left. Across the street was the entrance to a small and very dark alley. There was no sign of anyone nearby.
Magus pondered his next step, as he stood in a pool of dim light cast by a streetlamp.
