"You'll... have to forgive me. I don't know what happens in a pub... What should I look out for?" Lucario asked a bit worriedly. He knew what fun was, but the way Bow made it sound... he wondered if he might be in over his head... Of course in the back of his mind he knew he had to do this to further their mission, and possibly his only chance to get just a step closer to home.
In the end however, Lucario would simply rest and converse with Bow over what to expect at this 'party'. The more Bow explained however the more Lucario wished he had spent less time secluded in the mountains and more time observing human culture...

Curious, Edward picked up the lone, unmarked book on the corner of the desk top and flipped through the pages.

"I am trying to determine that myself. Some kind of mechanical creature used a device that surrounded myself and my compatriots with blackness...we were attacked there...and then I awoke here."

Bumblebee identified that the top of the tower would be perfect for getting a full view of the city. However, there would be no way to get himself or his holodriver to the top unnoticed. He needed to think. He decided to wait and observe a bit longer to see if an idea would present itself.

LUCARIO
"A party in the pub means one thing: lots of strong drink," responded Bow slyly, "Especially since they just finished a big job, those workers are going to party HARD. If you can talk to them while they're a bit tipsy, they might be a good bit more loose-lipped than usual, and that could definitely work to your advantage. Of course, not everyone is a friendly drunk, so watch out for anyone that might want to pick a fight. Sometimes too much drink turns people into jerks."
"Still, this could be a great opportunity. Just be careful not to overdo it yourself. It could be considered rude if you don't drink at all, especially if someone offers to buy you a round, so make sure you pace yourself. A little bit at a time shouldn't affect you much. A little more than that, and you might start thinking bad ideas aren't so bad. Too much, and you might just wake up not remembering what you did the whole night, or even where the heck you are. So just take it easy."

EDWARD CARNBY
Edward lifted the book out of the desk and began to flip through it, or at least tried to. He was only slightly surprised to discover that after the first few pages, the rest were glued together, and a small compartment was cut into them. Inside rested a small key made of brass, which he pocketed; surely it was important if it was hidden in that sort of non-obvious fashion.
Edward obtains a Brass Key.

THRALL
"Mechanical creatures? Sounds like you're talking about robots, then," said the shopkeeper, "And when robots are attacking people, odds are there's someone controlling them to make them do so. Your best bet to investigate something like that would be the Daytron factory. If you're interested, it's right down the road from here, all the way at the east end of the city. You can't miss it."
"Of course, with the recent incident, you may be hard pressed to actually get inside to talk to anyone."

BUMBLEBEE
Bumblebee watched, and for several minutes all he saw were the comings and goings of various tourists and other folks gathered near the tower. However, just as he was about to give up, something caught his optic up above.
Moving toward the top of the tower far above the crowd, Bumblebee could see a strange distortion in the air, almost like the shimmer of heat haze. As he watched it moved directly over the tower, and then stopped, simply staying in place there. It seemed he was the only one who had noticed; the humans milling around were mostly not even looking up, and even those who were didn't seem to be acting as if anything unusual was going on.

Thrall nodded and turned towards the door. "I am sure if their creations have found their way to worlds you do not know of, then they would be quite interested. Strength and honor to you, friend." Thrall started outside...if this Daytron factory could tell him more about the thing that attacked him and his men...this 'robot' as he called it...then he would certainly have a strong head start to finding his way back home.

"What do they put in the drinks to make them behave like this?" Lucario questioned, once again showing just now naive and innocent he could be. He'd never heard of alcohol, or it's effects, so of course he assumed it was some kind of drug, like the time he had eaten a strange berry and thought he'd found another lucario on his mountain, whom of course he conversed with until he passed out and woke up to find his friend was gone.
"I'll try to be careful with these drinks then. Is there anything specific I should be listening for from the workers? Or just try to gather what I can?" Lucario asked next after he got some kind of explanation from Bow about the drinks. It seemed this pokemon was rather loyal and dedicated to the tasks bestowed on him, even if he was a little unknowledgeable of this world.

Bumblebee knew what it had to be. He had suspected it earlier...a cloaking device. The alien did have transportation. He had to get his attention, but how? He didn't want to alert people to his presence and the alien wouldn't help him if he alerted them to his either. He tried simply having his holodriver back away from the crowd, look up at the blur and wave her arms in a wide motion.

THRALL
"Good fortune to you," responded the shopkeeper as Thrall made to leave, "We could all use a bit of it with what's been going on lately."
Stepping back out onto the busy street, Thrall looked to his right. Sure enough, the road ended farther down at a very large edifice made from steel and glass, which must be the factory the shopkeeper referred to. In front of the building at ground level, a small group of people milled about, but it was tough to get a good look at what was going on from this distance.

LUCARIO
"Ah, the drink of commoners and kings, princes and paupers alike," replied Bow, seeming to wax poetic for a moment, "I am, of course, referring to alcohol, which is pretty much the reason pubs exist in the first place. Looks like water, but tastes like fire, at least in strong drinks. Drinking a little will make anyone more outgoing and social, though not always in a good way. Drink a lot, and people will see you for the kind of person you really are, and you may wake up the next morning with a splitting headache, holes in your memory, or possibly even worse. Of course, there's a fine line between the two, so you would be wise to err on the side of caution, especially if you've never had any before."
"Your best bet is to try to get information when people have started to loosen up from the drink. See if you can find out what the story is with the deadly combat and match fixing rumors we're investigating, but try to be sly about it. Even if they're tipsy, people probably won't appreciate it if you make it seem like you're pumping them for information. That IS what you're trying to do, but if you're subtle about it, they'll be less likely to catch on and more likely to open up."

BUMBLEBEE
Bumblebee had his holodriver try to signal the cloaked ship above, which drew several curious glances from people nearby. A few looked up at the tower, but apparently saw nothing amiss; it seemed he could see what they could not. However, there was no response from above.
"Hey there," said a man in a dark suit and sunglasses as he approached the holodriver. He gazed up at the top of the tower, "Waving to someone in the rotunda?"

A factory. From his experience with goblins and gnomes, this was going to be just as perilous as his journey to Kalimdor. He steeled himself and pressed down the street towards the glass structure. The more information he had when he approached Galaxy Corporation to find his home again, which was apparently unknown to these people, the better.
