Bumblebee was surprised. Usually this kind of distance and solid structure was not a problem for him. It must be weakness from the battles. He made the avatar stop in the doorway.
"I'm sorry." she said to the man, "I suddenly feel rather ill. I'll need to come back another time."
With that, he had her run off and around the corner. He would make her vanish as soon as she was out of sight and then he would stake out the area so he could head off the alien before he got away again. He knew the alien could possess human beings, but he knew the voice. He would have to watch and listen.

"Thank you." Lucario answered a little softer as he shut his eyes and bowed to Bow respectfully. No one had ever shown him this kind of consideration before, so Lucario was at a loss for words until he thought of something he had forgotten. His ears perked as he looked over at Ryu sleeping on the bed then back to Bow, remembering something he had done in their haste.
"Please let me repay you for these. I found a few of those coins when Ryu was injured, but I had nowhere to put them so when we picked Ryu up I put them where ever I could." Lucario then said to Bow. He remembered picking up twenty of the metal disks, though in his haste to get Bow's companion help he had forgotten about them until now.

BUMBLEBEE
"Hey, wait!" said the man, and he ran after the holoavatar. However, by the time he rounded the corner, Bumblebee had already caused the projection to fade away. The man stopped, seemingly puzzled, and began to seemingly mumble to himself. Bumblebee's sensitive audio receptors were able to easily pick up what he was saying.
"Suspected contact has eluded capture, but the saucer is still holding position above Coit Tower," he said, as he walked forward slowly, glancing from side to side, "Requesting backup for a covert sweep of the area in order to attempt to reestablish contact and apprehend. That little grey bastard can't have gone far."

LUCARIO
"Don't worry about it, you keep them," replied Bow with a dismissive wave, "You need the gear and supplies more than I do right now. Besides, I'm planning to go out later and pick up a set of the metal ones you were talking about."

"If you're sure, then thank you." Lucario replied simply. After their little exchange Lucario simply remained in the room conversing with Bow about anything he could think to ask, which wasn't much of importance, just a few questions about this worlds past, like how so many races came to be treated equally. Eventually, when it came time for Lucario to meet those at the pub he would excuse himself from Bow's company and head out to the building he had noted before.

So it's a saucer. How corny. He's not there...and they thought I was him...whoever they are. Being that this is the 60's, they probably just want to capture him just because he's not from earth. That just burns my circuits.
Bumblebee was now not only sure he wanted to stay parked nearby to watch, but he would also have to find a way to warn the alien should he show up that there were some unfriendly people waiting for him and he would not be able to return to his ship. He continued to watch and listen as hard as he could.

"My plans were to visit your Galaxy Corporation and solicit their aid, but I was hoping to gain some insight into my situation beforehand. I currently have none of your currency...would I need this in order to gain the Corporation's assistance?" After all...the only other 'Corporations' he'd ever heard about were run by goblins and gnomes, and nothing those two did were free.

LUCARIO
"I'm sure," Bow said, "It's no trouble. Enjoy."
Lucario's supposed simple line of questioning about the history of the world, however, led to quite a lengthy discussion. Bow spoke at length about many places of his world, the clans that inhabited it, and each of their places in history and current events. Much of the content went over Lucario's head, not being familiar with much of the world and its people, but several clans in particular seemed to merit quite a lot of discussion. He learned that the Manillo, a clan of fish folk of which he could only assume the shopkeeper was a member, were the main merchant and trader clan, and had basically monopolized the vast majority of importing, exporting, and sales of everything worth trading for most of the world's history, or at least what Bow knew of it. He learned of the Winged clan, humans with wings on their backs who have controlled Windia and its surrounding lands for centuries. He heard about the Dragon clan, a mighty clan that once ruled over the entire world before destroying themselves in intra-clan warfare. He learned that Bow was from a clan called the Grass Runner, whose impact on history was minimal, but who he felt were important to mention anyway.
And then Bow spoke of ancient mythology and history. Lucario learned that the world was call Tyr, and it and the clans that inhabited it were supposedly created by two sister goddesses named Miria and Deis. Over time, the clans began to fight with each other and among themselves, and the sisters consequently fought with each other over the fate of the world. Miria felt that their creations had become too powerful and violent, and wished to wipe them out and start over, while Deis believed that the life they had created was worth preserving. The legend said that Miria created Demons in order to eliminate the clans from Tyr, and Deis confronted her for this act. The two goddesses clashed with one another in a tremendous show of force, but Deis proved to be the slightest bit more powerful and gained the upper hand. In order to preserve the world from the wrath of her sister, she sealed Miria away at the core of Tyr to sleep forever. However, this act cost her most of her remaining power, and she was confined in the body of a mortal and forced to walk among the clans of Tyr as a last spiteful act by her sister before she fell into an eternal sleep.
By the time Bow's storytelling was done, dusk was upon them.

BUMBLEBEE
Bumblebee continued to observe the situation. Before long he spotted several more men in dark suits and sunglasses emerge from inside the tower, and begin canvassing the area. They seemed to be talking with each other through portable radios, though they said little of significance, mostly all-clears interspersed with a bit of random banter.

THRALL
"Well, you may have a bit of trouble then," said the soldier, "There is a processing fee associated with filing an incident report, in order to discourage frivolous claims. If you've got no money, then you won't be able to file. Of course, if you are a Hunter, then that's no problem at all, since this is a special job with a reward paid in Zehn."

He growled under his breath. Just like the goblins. "Then I will hunt, if I must." He leaned heavily against his staff.

Though long Lucario payed attention throughout the tale of Tyr's summarized history. At least now he knew more about the world he was in, and that no matter how much the people resembled the pokemon of his world they had simply evolved over time into their forms. The goddesses however caught his attention more than anything else. His belief was that Arceus had created all there was, but with this place being so strange... could Arceus have had sisters...? In either case he had never heard of an immortal legend being stripped of it's might and made to walk amongst commoners. And... would it be possible to find her, somehow restore her glory, and request assistance in returning home...? Certainly such a thing would not be out of reach for someone such as this goddess.
Despite his curiosity Lucario listened intently, asking questions only when something confused him a little, and as Bow's tale ended Lucario mulled it over for a moment before realizing how late it had gotten.
"I better leave for the pub. Thank you Bow. For the explanation and for these. I am in your dept." Lucario said respectfully and happily to the big lug as he bowed his head softly, then met Bow's gaze for his response.
Once Bow had responded Lucario bid him farewell for now and headed off to the pub, listening carefully as he approached, not knowing what to expect.

BUMBLEBEE
Bumblebee tried to tune into the radio frequency being used, but found it to be extremely heavily encrypted. He found that quite odd, since he had been able to tune in army frequencies with ease earlier; these guys obviously had some very sophisticated tech in order to encrypt their signals to the point that he couldn't crack them as a matter of course.
Realistically, though, he was having little trouble eavesdropping on the men nearby using his enhanced audios. While that eliminated his chances of hearing anyone outside of the immediate area, he had little trouble getting the gist of the conversations. He was now starting to hear several references to "majestic" and "M5" in their conversations, though what those terms meant, he couldn't be sure.
A movement from the skies caught Bumblebee's optics. While the distortion in the air that presumably corresponded to the saucer was holding steady, it seemed that some sort of strange device was being lowered on to the top of the tower. The men on the ground had clearly spotted it as well. While they didn't seem to be panicking, they had started to spread the word via radio, and several of them were looking skyward now as well.

"In that case, please check in with Inspector Starr over there," he said, gesturing toward a man with graying hair and mustache wearing a dark blue uniform, "He'll register you for this mission."
